I recently bought an old radio controlled General Lee that had its original box. It is no where near mint, but I am very happy to have one with a box along side the original I had as a kid. I was surprised to see this on the back of the box. I didn't know that a prototype of a radio controlled Jeep was ever created. I wonder why it didn't make it to production. There weren't any 1/18 Dukes made until 2000. It says five function, which would have been more than the General. All it does is go forward and backward. It says it turns in reverse. I remember it being not the most fun toy to play with. It's also cool to see box art that is different from the norm. Neither of these guys look right. The "Luke" kinda looks like Wopat, but the blonde looks more like Coy than Bo. Not a good match to either of them really.

Man that Jeep would be awesome to get a hold of! They did not make it, correct?
